Seamus Mulcahy’s Associateship Panel Statement:

Inspired by The Art of Dance Movement

Inspired by the art of dance movement, I froze the movement of the dancer at that critical moment when the pose of the dancer and the flow of the dress came together in harmony.

All images were shot using my studio lighting against a plain grey backdrop.

I then completed my vision for each image by the application of multiple textures, which I also created.
